About Us
Our Story: Ursa – Silver, Stardust, and Serendipity
Ursa wasn't born out of a business plan. It began with a moment of serendipity: a spontaneous phone call between two childhood friends, Kanika Mittal Agarwal and Manisha Benara Kale.
Both were born in the timeless city of Agra. While fate had taken them on different paths—Manisha found her rhythm in Mumbai’s creative chaos, and Kanika remained rooted in Agra’s historic artistry—life had its own way of bringing them back together.
That one call ignited an idea, a shared instinct, and soon, a jewelry house named Ursa.
"We didn’t start with a grand vision—just a shared feeling: to create something beautiful, lasting, and real."
When we discovered the world of sterling silver, it felt like finding home. Silver—raw yet refined, strong yet soulful—mirrored everything we believed in.
What is Ursa? Artistry Meets Astronomy
Ursa [अर-सा] is a jewellery house born from the belief that every woman carries her own constellation of dreams.
Named after the Ursa constellation, which means “the Great Bear” in Latin, the brand symbolizes strength, guidance, and cosmic connection—much like the stars that have led travelers for centuries.
At Ursa, we blend artistry with astronomy. Each piece is crafted to remind you of that quiet inner glow—your personal North Star.
Why Choose Ursa?
Because Ursa is not just jewelry—it’s a feeling. It's the silver thread that connects earth and stars, past and present, hearts and hands.
It's:
- Strength wrapped in simplicity.
- Friendship turned into artistry.
- A commitment to beauty that lasts beyond fleeting trends.
Ursa celebrates the timeless allure of 925 sterling silver — a metal known not just for its shine, but for its soul. Our silver jewellery is nickel-free , hypoallergenic, and tarnish-resistant , because luxury should never compromise comfort.
Ursa is for the dreamers who find meaning in the night sky. For every one who knows that while stars may fade, silver never does.
With Ursa, founded by Kanika Mittal Agarwal and Manisha Benara Kale, you don’t just wear jewelry—you wear a story of strength, stardust, and self-expression.
